Good evening Leopards!
This is Superintendent Michele Shaffer.
We are devoting all of our time to developing the plan for the next school year based on the Governor’s guidelines. I met again last Thursday with district superintendents along with members from several county health departments. We have two meetings scheduled this week. Together, we are finalizing a draft of a plan for the next school year.
Our Louisville district Reset-Restart planning team consisting of administrators and certified and classified staff members from all buildings and grade levels will begin meeting on July 14th to assist with guidance and feedback as we finalize our plan. Our goal is to present the plan to parents by July 24.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote on our “You Decide” levy survey. We will review the results at the Special Board of Education meeting Monday, July 13, at Louisville Middle School. We will release the results to the public following the meeting.
We received several messages from concerned residents reporting someone going door-to-door, representing themselves with the school district. Please know that this person is not affiliated with Louisville City Schools. All parent information, including surveys, will be communicated via email, text, district website or phone.
As always, please continue to check our website and Facebook pages for updates and information. Have a great evening!
